Hand Spun

This page shows a few of the raw fleeces, some are washed before spinning, some are spun 'in the grease' sometimes carded into rolags, but if it is a very fine, clean and open staple then I spin straight from the fleece as it comes. If it is a longwool type then it's usually teased apart into a cloud first .Bottom left shows a very full bobbin of yarn plied on the Canadian wheel.
