1.'Floating Thoughts' Lying in my bed, after the operation, thinking of all my ceramics, the ideas, the unfinished work, and wondering what on earth am I going to do now.
2. ' First Intrusion'
This had not been foreseen,
it was as if I had suddenly
and invisibly been chopped
down in my prime, as it were.
3. 'Nerve Sensations'
My body was beginning to react to these, sharp and continuous damaged nerve sensations, radiating from elbow to hand.
4. 'Nerve Endings'
5. 'Mindwatching'
Ceramics is so much about feeling, the sense of touch with precise control.
Is this it all over now?
6. 'Upheaval'
Whose to know?
And the tide came in and washed it all away.
7. 'Rockface'
Luck of the draw.Why?
8. 'Mind Living Sculpture'
Inspirational and creative thoughts still continue, but have no direction.
9. 'Past Echoes'
