Wild Garden Series
INTRODUCTION
This is a representative selection of ceramics produced between 1981 and up to June1993 at Skyfield Studio. A data base for the variety of themes, styles, colours, shapes and forms. A small 'index code' is included with each image to provide added information.
In the 'Wild Garden Series' the shapes, patterns and textures are the result of direct observation. Here in this earlier work are studies in contrasts of light and shadow, camouflage effects, together with impressed and inlaid designs giving almost a 'fossilized' appearance in order to capture the moment.
